6. Staffing, medical
care, and therapy provided in a nursing home
Do you have physicians
on staff?
Each nursing home has a staff of physicians, as well as a Medical
Director. In addition, we have ophthalmologists, podiatrists,
audiologists, and dentists that provide care as needed.
Do you have licensed
nurses on duty all the time?
We are licensed by the federal government and the State of Michigan
and meet all criteria for long term care. This requires that
there be a licensed nurse available at all times.
How aggressive is your
therapy department?
Our therapy program is ordered by the physician and meets all
criteria for Medicare reimbursement. The resident’s care
is overseen by the physician during the entire course of therapy.
Does your facility have
enough help?
We meet or exceed state requirements for staffing ratios. |
